Chris Potter Trio feat. Matt Brewer and Kendrick Scott

Saxophonist Chris Potter is a great favorite at Victoria. His last visit here was in a duo with pianist Craig Taborn, a concert many hailed as the "best of the year" in 2025, an evening full of colors, energy and fantastic playing. Chris Potter has had a long and brilliant career with great influence on the development of modern jazz. Alongside his own fantastic bands, he has played with almost everyone: Pat Metheny, Dave Holland, Joe Lovano, Brad Mehldau, Steely Dan… the list just goes on. In this new trio he brings Matt Brewer on bass, known among other things from fine collaborations with Lee Konitz and Aaron Parks, and drummer Kendrick Scott, who is part of the Blue Note All-Stars and also releases great records under his own name.
