Baby Dance

Baby Dance is an activity for parents with babies aged 3–12 months, primarily designed for parents on parental leave. During Baby Dance, parents move together with their babies while interacting with other participants. Through dance, physical play, tactile objects and music, the sessions stimulate the senses and encourage communication between adult and child. Baby Dance gives parents ideas for exploring movement, interaction and play with their babies. No previous experience is required- just wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in. Practical information: * One booking is valid for one adult and one baby. * Suitable for babies aged 3–12 months. * The event takes place in Studio A at Sentralen. * Designated stroller parking will be available and clearly signposted. Feel free to ask Sentralen’s staff for help finding the stroller parking area or Studio A. About the concept: Baby Dance was developed and is led by performing artists Beata K. Iden and Heidi Jessen. Through Baby Dance, we aim to create meaningful artistic experiences for and with young children accompanied by adults. We focus on the interaction between parent and child, as well as the connection with the other participants. Between us, we have many years of experience in dance, movement and performances for children aged 0–6. Beata K. Iden is also a certified ContaKids instructor. We were the first to introduce Baby Dance in Norway, and we are proud to continue offering this unique concept.
